Returns and Exchanges

Fashion Bug will give its customers the opportunity to exchange a product, provided it is in a fully resalable condition. Returns should be made within 7 days from the date of the goods being received and in its original, undamaged packaging/condition. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse an exchange on the item. Delivery charge will be waived off on the 2nd purchase if the initial delivery had one of the issues mentioned above.

  1. Returns via courier collection

    Drop us an email to or send us a WhatsApp message to +94 77 235 2235 with details relating to your order (order number, invoice number, and the reason for returns) and we will look into it and revert back to organise for the courier to collect the product free of charge if the delivered goods are incorrect, damaged or faulty.

  2. Returns to the nearest store

    You can always bring in your product you wish to return or exchange with the invoice or the web order received online to the nearest store and inform us on the reason for the return/exchange. The Return/Exchange will be carried out based on the policies and options set out below.

  1. Exchange at Store

    If you wish to exchange the same item with a different colour or size, or with a similarly priced item, that will be treated as a general exchange where there is no cost involved. If you exchange with a product where the price is higher than the old product, you will have to pay the price difference at the store. If the item to be exchanged is received under a special promotion the balance to be paid will be the difference of the new item price and the amount paid for the old item. The web discount will not be applicable for the products in the store during exchange.

  2. Non-exchangeable items

    We are unable to offer a refund or exchange for any undergarments/ accessories / lingerie due to reasons of personal hygiene.

  3. COVID-19 related policy

    Please note that from time to time Fashion Bug reserves the right to change the exchange policy as enforced by the Health authorities and the relevant government agencies. These changes are beyond the normal scope of business and we have to adhere to the policies issued by the government authorities.

  1. Same Day delivery

    We have now introduced same day delivery to addresses within the Colombo metropolitan region and we are increasing this radius. Please note that due to COVID-19 related issues - these services may be temporarily disrupted.

  2. Island-wide Delivery

    Fashion Bug has partnered with key logistics partners in the island to deliver the products purchased within a time frame of 3 business days. Please note that due to COVID-19 related issues - these services may be temporarily disrupted.

  1. Faulty or Incorrect Product

    As a retailer of choice, we will exchange these items or consider a refund for these products.

  1. Returns and Exchanges

    Fashion Bug will honour product returns and exchanges even if its from overseas. Products invoiced and despatched being different to each other will be sent out Free of Charge. However, if you wish to exchange for change of mind, we are happy to process these requests as well if the parcel is returned to us within a 30 day period, a new invoice will be raised to deliver the exchanged product to you.

  2. Delivery Detail Changes

    As we are working with third party logistics partners we cannot change the delivery details once the package has been shipped out. These concerns will need to be raised with the delivery partner who may consider such requests at additional charges.
