Fashion Bug celebrates HRMI- Business, Sales & Marketing Batch of 2022

Sri Lanka's leading fashion retail outlet Fashion Bug hosted an awards ceremony on June 30, 2022, at the Auditorium of Nest Academy, Ratmalana, to commemorate 15 of its qualifying Deputy-level Managers, for successfully completing the Certificate in Business, Sales and Marketing from the Human Resources Management Institute (HRMI).

Understanding the need to boost and maintain morale among its workforce, as well as the requirement to produce learned and academically sound managers, Fashion Bug takes pride in
its efforts to collaborate with institutions that assist in accomplishing this vision.

“We believe that people have an opportunity to grow when enabled with education. This is true even after they may have achieved their dream job, as the potential only continues to increase.
For our deputy managers, this was an opportunity to continue gaining career experience, while academically qualifying themselves at the same time, placing them in a healthy position for
career advancement,” commented Fashion Bug (Pvt.) Ltd CEO Shabier Subian.

Fashion Bug takes pride in educating the deputy managers in the areas of Management, Human Resource Management, Personal Development, Sales, Customer Service and Retail
Marketing.

The company has reiterated its commitment to facilitate the betterment of its human capital through similar knowledge-building and educational programmes over the years, as this
programme also counts as the minimum qualification deputy managers must achieve to be eligible for promotion.

Having commenced as a partnership business with four partners and a staff of 15 persons in 1994, today, Fashion Bug is one of Sri Lanka’s leading fashion/clothing retail outlets with over
14 stores island wide, with a workforce of over 1,250 employees. The company is committed to its vision of being an all-Sri Lankan fashion retailer, and continues to grow, truly living up to its
corporate statement: ‘Changing lifestyles’.
